Vertretung des Lehrbereiches im Wintersemester 2021/22

Dr.in Anna Wanka is a sociologist and critical gerontologist interested in the social construction of age. She is specialized in practice theories and has high methodological expertise in multi-methods research. Anna Wanka maintains a wide international expert network and is used to working in and coordinating interdisciplinary and international projects and networks, for example on Material Gerontology or Socio-Gerontechnology. She has significant experience in co-supervising and mentoring MA and PhD students and has built up and led early career research teams. Currently she works on her habilitation on a practice-theoretical framework for transitions across the life course in the DFG-funded interdisciplinary research training group “Doing Transitions”.
